Garabato MullenLowe take us on an emotional journey presented by Paraguay’s National Secretariat of Tourism
The film follows a man from the Paraguayan countryside who, on the eve of Paraguay’s long-awaited return to the 2026 World Cup, revives the ritual he once shared with his father: listening to the matches on the same old radio.
That small tradition drives him toward something greater. A faded photograph at the Pantheon of Heroes, the symbolic heart of Paraguay’s celebrations, sets him on a journey to Asunción, moved by hope, memory, and the silent promise to his father.
Shot in real time during the qualification celebrations, the piece captures genuine euphoria, turning the Pantheon into an unrepeatable set. More than football, it’s a tribute to Paraguay’s spirit: unshakable faith, sacred rituals, and the belief that what truly matters always arrives.
